Quantum-Chromodynamics-Inspired 2D Multicolor LED Matrix to Camera Communication for User-Centric MIMO

With the high availability of low-cost and energy-efficient LEDs cameras, there is increased interest in optical camera communication (OCC) to provide nonradio-frequency-based solutions domains advertisement, vehicular communication, Internet Things (IoT). As per IEEE 802.15.7-2018 standard, new physical-layer clauses support low-frame-rate with allowable flickering. This paper proposes an OCC system that can user-centric multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) loosely based on quantum-chromodynamics (QCD) concepts. A QCD–OCC simulator prototype are proposed, implemented, evaluated basis pixel intensity profile, peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), success reception (%), bit-error rate (BER), throughput under different ambient lighting conditions distances. We observed 100% 84% using proposed simulator, respectively, for data 720 bps. The maximal tolerable BER 1.13×10−2 IoT applications was at a distance 200 cm 3600 also compared other existing systems similar hardware implementation requirements. provided rotation up 90 degrees 4.32 kbps 30 fps camera.
